Smartcool Systems Inc. is founded in Vancouver in 2004 as the North American distributor for the technology from Australia.

In 2006, Smartcool purchases the assets of the inventor, including the intellectual property and becames the sole distributor and manufacturer.

Smartcool expanded its product line with technology for smaller air conditioning, refrigeration and heat pump systems with simple control systems.

Continued product development has matched ongoing corporate consolidation, with the acquisition in early 2011 of our previously independent UK distributor.
