Title: Sales and Marketing Administrator
Category: Sales and Marketing Location: Vancouver, BC Compensation: Competitive salary plus benefits (including employee stock option plan) Job Summary The Sales & Marketing Administrator will report directly to the VP of Sales. This position will be responsible for the company's online presence, printed collateral material and a variety of marketing/advertising initiatives. The Administrator will also provide support to the sales team through creating/updating templates and other support material. The candidate will bring with them strong communication, organization and project/time management skills along with creativity and a sense of humour. Responsibilities
o Design and Maintenance o Statistics/Summary Reports o SEO strategy and implementation o Online advertising
o Promotional Material (print and electronic) o Advertisements (print and electronic) o Tools and Document Templates (print and electronic) o Graphics (logos, photography, etc.)
o Review of published work, i.e. articles, news releases, etc for consistency and accuracy
o In-House Sales Team o 3rd Party Telemarketing Firm o General Administration / Organization / Filing • Miscellaneous
Qualifications Strong Computer Skills Online: html, content management systems, sql, asp, etc. Print: Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc. General: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Excellent Communications Skills Must be able to effectively communicate and establish strong relationships with a wide range of individuals/groups including fellow employees; 3rd party companies; industry, government & non-profit organizations; and external stakeholders Flexibility Ability to handle multiple complex assignments with tight schedules and changing scope and requirements. Qualifications • Journeyman Refrigeration Technician with 3-5 years experience with Commercial/ Industrial HVACR systems with a focus on reciprocating, rotary screw and centrifugal units for both chill water HVAC and refrigeration systems or a Post Secondary Degree in Engineering with 3-5 years of field experience preferably in HVACR, Automation or Controls systems. • Strong Technical Background focused on HVACR Controls, BMS systems, Chillers and Industrial Refrigeration systems. • A strong background of field experience with installation, operations, maintenance, field customer support, troubleshooting or facility start ups of Commercial/ Industrial HVACR systems. • Knowledge of at least one major equipment manufacturer's (Trane, Carrier, York etc.) controllers and interface methods. • A "Hands On" background and familiarity with tools for project installations. • A proven ability to find safe and creative solutions to problems as they arise in the field during installations so as to move the project on to completion in a timely matter. • Superior Problem Solving Skills in a Technological Environment. • A proven ability to work as part of a small team in a dynamic entrepreneurial environment. • Able to complete complicated data analysis. • Very strong written and verbal communications skills. • Maintains professional and technical knowledge by reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks and participating in professional bodies.
