These were large hotels, in hot climates (Malta, Florida and Dubai respectively), with some serious cooling requirements and no margin for error. Guests won't tolerate being too hot or too cold- they will simply book in to another hotel, so incorrect climate control will cost money. The hotel engineers cannot tolerate any issues with the air conditioning systems for which they are responsible- this equipment is extremely valuable and finely tuned.
Comfort cooling is an integral part of the hotel industry, and Smartcool has proven its ability to provide huge energy (and cost and carbon!) savings without any impact on the hotel's day to day business. The same goes for smaller hotels that may have a couple roof top air conditioning units or even heat pumps, instead of massive chillers.
