Smartcool Systems Inc. is a clean technology company that specializes in energy efficiency technology for commercial, industrial and retail businesses. The Energy Saving Module (ESM)™ and ECO³™ are green technologies that provide substantial economic and environmental benefits for Smartcool's customers.

The ESM™ and ECO³™ are unique retrofit technologies that reduce the energy consumption (kWh) and demand (KW) of compressors in refrigeration, air conditioning and heat pump systems.  Energy savings achieved by the ESM™ and ECO³™ are quantifiable and the products can qualify for government and utility rebates.  The technology has been validated by rigorous third party testing, government organizations and private business installations.

Smartcool Systems Inc. has three wholly owned subsidiaries: Smartcool International Inc., Smartcool Systems USA Inc., and Smartcool Systems EMEA Ltd.  Smartcool International Inc. is the owner, developer, manufacturer and worldwide distributor of the ESM™ and ECO³™.  Smartcool Systems USA Inc. is responsible for the sales and distribution of Smartcool's technology in the United States, utilizing a rapidly growing network of independent sales channels.  Smartcool Systems (EMEA) Ltd. distributes Smartcool's technology through independent sales channels in Europe, the Middle East, the Indian sub-continent and Africa.

Rising global energy demand is resulting in significant increases in energy prices. Environmental concerns are causing both government and industry to re-examine the way they do business.  Smartcool provides companies around the world with a solution to address the growing pressure to reduce energy costs, increase profits and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. This success has resulted in the installation of over 26,000 Smartcool units around the world. Smartcool is reducing greenhouse gas emissions by an estimated 260,000 tons and electricity use by 221,000 megawatts each year. This is enough electricity to supply 18,000 homes at Canadian levels of energy consumption (one of the highest in the world).
